Helen “Jean” Krantz, 84, Warsaw, passed away at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, in her residence.
She was born on June 7, 1931, to Clarence and Violet (Harlan) Scoby in Burr Oak. Jean has lived in Kosciusko County since she was 15 years old. She worked for Big Boy Products for 31 years, DaLite Screen for two years and Sun Metal for two years. She love riding and training horses, she also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jean is survived by her grandchildren: Tracy (Hoss) Kennedy, Urbana; Trina (Donavan) Davis, Tulsa, Okla.; Max Menzie Jr., Warsaw; Shane (Jody) Menzie, Pierceton; Stacy (Keith) Patches, Pa.; and 11 great-grandchildren: Arie; Kade; Kyra Kennedy; Whitney Menzie; Tyler and Tiara Menzie; Evan Taylor; Nolan Menzie; Dylan and Keeli Patches; two brothers: Allan (Wanda) Anders, Pierceton and Jerry Anders, Pierceton; a sister: Anita (Eddie) Krebs, Warsaw; daughter-in-law: Darlene Menzie, Pierceton.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons: Rick Robinson; Rex Menzie; and Max Menzie Sr.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton. A service will follow at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in the Funeral Chapel with Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton, Indiana at a later date.
