COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. — Police have reportedly contained a gunman near the Planned Parenthood on Centennial in Colorado Springs, Colo.

According to KKTV News, Colorado Springs, three officers have been injured in the shooting. Shoppers in a nearby shopping center were advised to “shelter in place” and police are advising the public to stay away from that area.

Police responded to a report of an active shooter at 12:10 p.m. EST. at 12:40 p.m. EST ambulances and police vehicles were lined up near shooting location. At 1:10 p.m. EST the report was received three officers were injured in a shooting and the gunman had been contained. Two of the officers were reportedly evacuated and authorities are still trying to reach the third.
