WINONA LAKE – A big second half carried Jimtown past Lakeland Christian Academy 55-23 Tuesday night in prep girls basketball action.

The visiting Jimmies led just 18-10 at halftime before outscoring the Cougars 37-13 in the final half.

Melissa Goss led the way for LCA with nine points and 11 rebounds in the contest.

The trio of Hannah Delp, Rachel Sand and Gabby Catron each scored four points for the Cougars. Abigail Fishel had two points for LCA.

Brady Gross grabbed 11 rebounds and Sand had five for the Cougars.

LCA, now 3-4, plays at Hamilton Dec. 5. Jimtown, now 4-3, hosts South Bend Clay Dec. 1.
