WARSAW — The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory would like to remind everyone to check their smoke detectors and confirm the home is ready for the approaching winter season.

The cold Indiana winter is beautiful, but brings an increase in potential for accidental fire and carbon monoxide emergencies in the home. Take the time to ensure all heating and safety equipment is properly maintained, and in working order prior to use.

The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory proudly provides one smoke detector, if needed, to all residents of Warsaw and Wayne Township through its smoke detector assistance program. Details for this program are available at WWFT Station 1, 109 E. Main St., or WWFT Station 2, 2204 E. Center St., Warsaw.
