Harret R. Owens, 94, Rochester, passed at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Life Care Center of Rochester.

She was born on March 16, 1921, in Argos, to Fred and Elva (Syple) Nette. She was a long time member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Harret is survived by her brother: Frederick McGee; several nieces and nephews; husband: Steve Owens; daughter: Valancy Gunter; sisters: Alice May Slaybaugh; Wilma Nette McGee; and brother: Roland Nette.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Rochester Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Rochester, and will be officiated by Elder Timothy Detwiler.
