Betty “Ellen” Kindig, 76, Warsaw, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015, at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw, after a very recent diagnosis of metastatic malignant melanoma.

She was born on March 29, 1939, to Foy H. and Ruby (Hosler) Eisaman in South Whitley.

She was a stay-at-home mom, worked at Central Shoe Store, and she was a receiving clerk for Ace Hardware in Warsaw for 14 years.

Ellen is survived by her son: Tony (April) Kindig, warsaw; one daughter: Dr. Susan (Frank Kasper) Kindig, Carmel; brothers: Jack Eisaman, Homer, Alaska; and Jerry (Norma) Eisaman, Syracuse; and two granddaughters: Rachel and Ashley Kasper. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband: Dale Kindig.

There will be a visitation from 2-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, and immediately following a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.

Memorial contributions are to Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund, Warsaw.
