Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, East Center Street, west of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: James G. Boyer, 60, Ridenour Avenue, Greenville, S.C. Hit deer. Damage up to $25,000

5:36 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, East Center Street and North Hickory Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joan K. Wells, 57, West SR 18, Roann, and Zechariah A. Capps, 18, West CR 800S, Claypool. Wells drove her vehicle into the turn lane to turn left when Capps’ vehicle moved over, hitting her vehicle in the passenger side. Capps stated he saw the Wells vehicle coming behind him, passing stopped cars. He was going to make a left turn so he began to pull into what he thought was the left turn lane for Detroit Street, and did not think Wells’ vehicle was as close to him as it was. Damage up to $5,000.

1:03 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, West Winona Avenue, west of Hand Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: James G. Harrison, 72, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw, and John J. Sutherlin, 24, Loher Lane, Warsaw. Harrison drove his vehicle out in front of Sutherlin’s vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

12:28 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, Husky Trail, Warsaw. Driver: Timothy P. Ellis, 47, West CR 400S, Warsaw, and Kevin L. Brown, 44, North Harper Road, Leesburg. Ellis was backing from a parking space and was almost backed out when collided with the Brown vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
