Dianna L. Anderson, 59, a resident of rural Churubusco, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, Nov. 14, 2015, at the family residence in Smith Township.
Dianna was born on Jan. 16, 1956, at Wolf Lake, a daughter of Eldon D. and Phyllis (Harrold) Anderson
She spent her formative years on the family farm in Smith Township and graduated from Churubusco High School in 1975.
A floral designer for much of her adult life, she had owned and operated The Flower Boutique in Churubusco for several years, and later worked as a designer for McNamara Florists in Indianapolis for over 10 years. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening and also arts and craft projects.
The surviving relatives include her mother: Phyllis Anderson of Churubusco; a brother Scott (Linda) Anderson of Churubusco; two sisters Monica (David) LeFever and Nanette Jantz, both of Churubusco; six nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; and by a brother-in-law Steven P. Jantz.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015, at the Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco with Rev. Corinne Boruff-Stucker, pastor of Churubusco United Methodist Church, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Churubusco History Center or Churubusco Public Library.
