Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

1:50 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, EMS T13D Lane, east of EMS T13 Lane, North Webster. Driver: Ronald G. Wood, 61, West Broadway Street, Alexandria. Wood was eastbound when a basketball goal stand fell into the roadway from the wind. He was unable to hit the goal, causing him to loose control of his motorcycle, and then overturned. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:41 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, East CR 350S, north of East Wilcox Road, Warsaw. Driver: Kara N. Graves, 27, North Westerner Winds Drive, Warsaw, hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

4:52 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Javier Garza 20, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, and Peggy J. Lenfestey, 66, EMS B61B Lane, Warsaw. Garza was cited for operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. Garza pulled from the Taco Bell driveway into the path of the Lenfestey vehicle. Garza’s view was blocked by another vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.

12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, East Center Street, Warsaw. Driver: Bobby M. Matthews, 89, South Indiana Street, Warsaw. was backing his vehicle backed into a parked vehicle registered to Beverly R. Davis, Sophie Lane, Warsaw. Damage up to $1,000.
