Lois June Knouff

Lois June Knouff, 8o, Warsaw, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Millers Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born June 27, 1935, to Edward and Edith (Anglemeyer) Ummel in Kosciusko County.
On June 25, 1955, she was united in marriage to Arlo H. Knouff. They made their home in Warsaw until the early 1960s, when they moved to Long Beach, Calif., where her husband, Arlo, worked for Douglas Aircraft. In 1963, they moved St. Louis, Mo., and he began working for McDonald Aircraft. He retired in 1991 so they move back to Noble County to retire at the family farm.
Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, latch hook, cross stitch, needlepoint and painting.
Surviving relatives include her three children: Brenda Ward, Noble County, Bruce Knouff, Warsaw, and Roger Knouff, Noble County; two granddaughters: Elizabeth (Matthew) Ward Allen and Hailey Knouff; sisters: Phyllis Swick, Columbia City, and Joan Kirkham, Green Castle.
She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the funeral chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
The burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
Preferred memorial are to Etna Community Church, Etna Green.
