Patricia R. Gross, 84, Grace Village Retirement Community of Winona Lake, and formerly of Etna Green, passed at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015, at Grace Village Retirement Community of Winona Lake.

She was born on June 7, 1931, in Kosciusko County, to Howard and Olive (Linn) Hudson. She was married on Oct. 7, 1962, in Swayzee, to Loren D. Gross, he preceded on Aug. 10, 1999.

Patricia was an accountant retiring from Kralis Brothers Foods of Mentone. She was a 1949 graduate of Mentone High School. She had been a member of the Mentone Reading Club, D.A.R., American Legion Auxiliary, as well as being a member of the Mentone United Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting carnival glass, many kinds of antiques, traveling, square dancing, reading, and loved genealogy.

Survivors include son: Gary (Denise) Gross, Warsaw; great-nephew: Austin Whitaker, Warsaw; brothers: Dale Hudson, Winona Lake; Don (Betty) Hudson, Etna Green. She is also survived by a sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Norma Metheny; and brothers: Dick and Kenneth Hudson.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, also at King Memorial Home, officiated by Pastor Rick Johnson. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
