Ralph E. Hyde, 81, Warsaw, passed away at 6:34 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

On March 26, 1934, he was born in Cannelton, to Ralph and Thelma (Dunlevy) Hyde. He was united in marriage to Mary A. Guiff on Jan. 23, 1960, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who survives.

Ralph Graduated from Cannelton High School and then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He graduated from Indiana Institute of Technology in 1958 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for U.S. Steel, Gary before moving to Warsaw in 1965. He then worked for Donnelley and Sons, Inc., Warsaw until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Hyde, Warsaw; three children: R. Patrick (Shirley) Hyde, Warsaw; Elizabeth (George) Wray, Fort Wayne; and Daniel (Jayne) Hyde, Fort Wayne; his sister: Mary Howell, Louisville, Ky.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He was loved and cherished. His life will be celebrated privately at a later date.
