Michael Eugene Whitesell, 13 months old, of Columbia City, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015.

Born Sept. 30, 2014 in Columbia City, he was the son of Cheyenne Whitesell.

Michael was a charmer with his big smile, one that could brighten anyone’s day. He liked to watch Mickey Mouse and Barney in addition to playing with his big brother Keegan and cousin Madilynn.

Michael is survived by his mother: Cheyenne Whitsell, Columbia City; brother: Keegan Whitesell, Columbia City; grandparents: Tina (Jim) Vonholdt, Columbia City; Mike Prince, Huntington County; Edward (Cathy) Burgo; and Michael Carter, both of Fort Wayne; great-grandmother: Elizabeth Rollins, Fort Wayne; great-great-grandmother: Mary Jackson, Fort Wayne; aunt: Christina Whitsell, Columbia City; and uncle: Thomas (Brittney) Whitsell, Columbia City.

Funeral services for Michael will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City, with calling two hours prior to service.

Burial will follow in South Park Annex Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Michael may be made to Michael’s Final Expenses, care of DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home.
