Janis K. DeLanghe, 71, of Plymouth, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Life Care Center, Rochester. She was born on March 2, 1944, in North Liberty, to the late Leo and Jeanette (Clark) Hostetler. On Sept. 14, 1963, in North Liberty, she was united in marriage to Clifford R. DeLanghe.

Mrs. DeLanghe is survived by her husband: Clifford DeLanghe; daughter: Denice R. DeLanghe, Dallas, Texas; sister: Verla (Jerry) Six, Denver, Colo.; brother: Larry (Sharon) Hostetler, Albuquerque, N.M.; and sister-in-law: Judy Haas, Lakeville.

Mrs. DeLanghe lived most of her married life in Carmel, moving to Plymouth in 2001. She retired in 1999 after ten years as a meat cutter at Kroger’s. She formerly attended the North Liberty Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at the Palmer Funeral Home, North Liberty. Graveside services and burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may visit with the family from 3-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in the funeral home.
