PIERCETON — One individual has been transported to a Fort Wayne Hospital after an accident on East Pierceton Road, west of East Washington Road. The accident occurred around 7:10 a.m.

The victim was transported by Lutheran EMS. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, and Pierceton Fire Department were on the scene.

The initial call indicated the driver of a vehicle reported he believed he hit a pedestrian but could not locate the individual. Emergency personnel located the male individual.

The condition of the pedestrian is not known.
