Velma May Trump, age 92, of Plymouth, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth, Indiana.

Velma was born on October 3, 1923, in Bremen, to Sharon and Elizabeth (Koontz) Stuntz. Velma was also blessed with a step-mother, Thelma Matchett. Velma became the bride of Albert Trump in a ceremony in Plymouth; he preceded her in passing on August 26, 1996. Velma was a lifelong Plymouth resident, she was a graduate of Plymouth High School, she loved to garden and everyone enjoyed watching her work eagerly to perfection. Velma retired from Wagoner Wire as a terminal assembler.

Velma is survived by her son: Michael D. (Sue) Trump, Argos; grandson: Jason (Amber) Trump, Argos; sister: Ester Cooper, Lockport, Ill.; stepsister: Anna Arnold, Ark.; two stepbrothers: David (Jeanette) Stuntz; and Paul (Erma) Stunts, Ark. Velma is preceded in passing by her parents; two sisters: Edith Stuntz; Marie Kriegbaum; brother: Henry Stuntz; stepsister: Marlene Burrus; and stepbrother: Harold Stuntz.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is caring for the Trump family. A Funeral service in honor of Velma will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, with Pastor Henry V. Sprunger officiating. Burial will follow the service at the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
A time of visiting with the Trump family will be held at the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

The Trump family requests memorial contributions are made to American Heart Association, Chicago, Ill., or Cancer Association, Plymouth.
