Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:08 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, West Winona Avenue and South Washington Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Marco A. Cleto, 17, Wexford Place, Warsaw; Steven M. Hodges, 24, Fairlane Drive, Warsaw; and Paul T. Heiman, 92, Ranch Road, Warsaw. Cleto was northbound on Washington Street, stopped at the stop sign, when a vehicle waived him through traffic and the intersection. As he began to cross Winona Avenue he failed to see the Hodges vehicle. The Hodges vehicle hit the side of the Cleto vehicle, spinning the vehicle around, causing his vehicle to hit the Heiman vehicle stopped on Washington Street. Cleto was cited for operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. Damage up to $2,500.
