SYRACUSE — Begin a new family tradition by attending the first Falltastic Trail Walk at Levinson-LaBrosse Education Center, 11586 N. SR 13, Syracuse.

The Wawasee Area Conservacy Foundation invites the community to the event, which will be held from noon to 4 Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18. Attendees will be able to walk a decorated trail, learn about what plants and animals do to prepare for winter and learn about how fall and winter contribute to lake quality.

Refreshments will be served in the pavilion at the conclusion of the walk. Admission is free, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
