Junior Warrior Basketball Program Looking For Participants

SYRACUSE – The newly developed Wawasee Junior Warriors Basketball Program is looking for boys in second through fifth grade to sign up for its youth basketball league.

The program will center around skill development for boys interested in the sport. The league will run from Oct. 17 to Dec. 12. There are six games and six practices throughout the event. Games will be held on Saturday’s at Syracuse Elementary.

The league fee is $40 per participant, scholarships are available. The fee includes a player evaluation (Oct. 17), Friday night skills development sessions, a Junior Warrior t-shirt and recognition at a Wawasee High School home varsity basketball game.

Registration ends Saturday, Oct. 17 from 8-9:30 a.m. for second through third graders and 10-11:30 a.m. for fourth through fifth graders at Wawasee Middle School.
