Officers with the Kosciusko county Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, South CR 900E north of East CR 150S, Pierceton. Driver: Tracy L. Julian, 44, West CR 800S, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

7:01 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, West CR 900N west of North CR 300W, Warsaw. Driver: Tyler H. Boganwright, 23, West CR 800S, Claypool. Boganwright fell asleep while driving and his vehicle ran off the road, striking a concrete barrier. Damage up to $10,000.

2:47 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, North SR 15 north of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Drivers; Buddy E. Kuczewski, 68, North Old Road 15, Leesburg, and Katie J. Sacks, 32, East CR 700S, Claypool. As Sacks began to make a lefthand turn, Kuczewski attempted to pass her and his vehicle collided with hers. Kuczewski was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with injuries to his face. Damage up to $10,000.

10:26 p.m. Saturday, Oc.t 10, North SR 13 north of East CR 150N, Pierceton. Driver: Hannah R. Rhoades, 17, EMS B36B Lane, Warsaw. Rhoades swerved to miss a fox, crossed center, overcorrected and rolled into a ditch. She and an unnamed passenger refused medical treatment. Damage up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accidents:

11:52 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 700 Park Ave. An unnamed vehicle owner reported damage to her parked vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

1:33 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, South Packerton Road and East Sara Drive, Winona Lake. Driver: Jamie L. Long, 51, Wildwood Lake, Winona Lake. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
