GOSHEN – The Goshen Mascot Steering Committee is pleased to announce the semifinalists for the mascot selection. The following fifteen names were selected from a total of 97 submitted names. In alphabetical order are the semifinalists:

Cardinals
Crimson Storm
Dragons
Firebirds
Gladiators
Greyhounds
Griffins
Grizzlies
Pride
Raptors
Red Devils
Redhawks
Spartans
Wolfpack

Today, Oct. 8, students at Goshen High School and Goshen Middle School will vote for their top three choices and the names receiving the most votes will move on to the final ballot. On Friday morning, Oct. 9, the finalists will be announced, and anyone may submit suggested graphics for those names to [email protected] between October 9-12.

The process will continue in mid-October, as the names and tentative artwork will be taken to artists for professional artwork. The tentative final vote which would include GHS/GMS students and staff and GHS alumni will be completed by Nov. 13.
