Robert J. Pfaff Jr., 72, of Rochester, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 1:05 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2015, at Elkhart Hospice House in Elkhart.

Born on Jan. 4, 1943, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen (Davis) Pfaff Sr. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served for 4 years. On April 7, 1963, he married Sandra K. Collins who survives.

In 1992, he retired from Exide after 23 years of being the supervising night plant manager. Robert was a member of the Logansport Jaycees where he served as a past president, and he was also a founding member of The South Side Improvement Association. He was a carpenter, and also a private pilot.

He is survived by daughters: Vickie (Greg) Lootens, Rochester; Bobbi (Cary) Carter, Rossville; grandchildren; Clayton Carter, Tyler Lootens and Kobe Lootens.

Per Robert’s request, there will be no services. Rans Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
