AKRON – Taylor Gunter led the way for the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School cross country team in the conference meet on Oct. 3.

Gunter placed 14th overall in the girls race with a time of 12:53.

Ava Craig was the next Valley runner to hit the finish line as she was 24th in a time of 13:16. Maria Henderson placed 43rd in a time of 14:!6, followed by teammates Bethany Johnson in 49th (14:28), Emma Craig in 61st (14:59), Alyssa Bell in 69th (15:22), Hanna Lowman in 70th (15:22), Sydney Rhamey in 73rd (15:34) and Alicia Johnson in 86th (17:18).

Zach Landis placed 35th overall in a time of 13:11 for Valley in the boys race. Logan Hummitch was 43rd in 13:32 for Valley.
