Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

6:39 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, South SR 19 north of West CR 800S, Mentone. Driver: Jamie L. Odell, 34, North SR 19, Akron. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

11:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, North SR 15 and West CR 800N, Leesburg. Driver: Mark B. Dickinson, 41, Oak Pointe Crossing, Warsaw. Dickinson swerved to miss an animal and rolled his vehicle. He was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with complaints of back pain. A passenger in his vehicle, Amanda J. Dickinson, 35, Oak Pointe Crossing, Warsaw, were transported to the hospital with complaints of neck pain. A third passenger, Bailey Reed, 2, Warsaw, was also transported but was not reported as being injured. Damage up to $10,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, SR 13 west of Executive Boulevard, Syracuse. Driver: Katherine L. Curry, 23, North Eastshore Drive, Syracuse. A horse ran into the roadway and struck Curry’s vehicle. There were no injuries to the driver or the horse. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

7:28 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 320 Hepler Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Kyle A. Berlincourt, 29, South 17th Street, Niles, Mich. Hit parked car. Damage up to $2,500.
