Warsaw SportsWARSAW – Warsaw continued to find its offense on the soccer pitch, losing 2-0 to visiting Fort Wayne Carroll Tuesday evening in boys soccer.

Carroll had a penalty kick goal from Alex Baker and a second goal from AJ Thomas, assisted by Jared Badgley, to account for its breakthrough offense. The Chargers took seven shots overall in the match.

Warsaw managed just three shots against the Class 2-A No. 16 Charger defense. Carroll starting keeper Demitrios Lee made two saves, and Colin Coplen entered late and made one save to preserve the shutout.

The JV game went to Carroll in a 4-0 result.

Carroll moves to 10-4-2 on the season while Warsaw continues to struggle at 2-13 overall. Warsaw finishes up its regular season Thursday at Northridge.
