CLAYPOOL — A driver was transported Saturday, Sept. 26, with non-life threatening injuries after rolling his vehicle down an embankment near Claypool.

According to police reports, Joshua L. England. 40, of Rochester, was driving on SR 15 south of Warsaw when an animal ran into the path of his vehicle. England swerved to miss the animal, lost control, spun and rolled down the embankment before landing upright in a cornfield.

England was transported to the hospital with complaints of pain to his entire body.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene.

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded this morning to reports of a rollover accident on SR 15, south of Claypool.

An adult male had been driving his vehicle southbound when an unknown animal ran into his path. The driver swerved to miss the animal and his vehicle went down an embankment and into a nearby cornfield.

The driver was immediately transported to the hospital with complaints of pain throughout his body.
