Donald Paul “Don” Long, 64, Bourbon, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, in Goshen.

He was born on July 18, 1951, in Warsaw, to Emery A. and Ruth Naomi (Crouse) Long.

He graduated from Triton High School and attended the University of Colorado in Pueblo, CO. On May 1, 1983 he was married to Nanette R. “Nan” Earl who survives and lived most of his life in the Etna Green and Bourbon areas. He was the former owner / operator of Long Construction in Bourbon and formerly worked at Franklin Coach in Nappanee.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 421 in Bourbon.

He is survived by his wife: Nan Long; three daughters: Courtney Long, Goshen; Amanda Long, Corpus Christy, Texas; and Crystal Simonton, Denver, Colo.; two granddaughters; sister: JOann Scott, Zionsville; and two brothers: Richard “Dick” (Donna) Long, Leesburg; and Max (Pat) Long, Owensboro, Ky. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: James Long.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Bourbon. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw, is in charge of all arrangements.

Memorial bequests may be given to the Donor’s choice.
