Theda Brown, 39, Cromwell, passed away on Sept. 21, 2015, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 25, 1976, in Hindman, Ky.

She is survived by her husband: Troy Brown; one son: Austin Brown; four daughters: Samantha (Travis) Brown-Beckner; Destiny Brown; Emily Brown; and Callie Brown; four sisters: Marie (Lance) Halsey; Margrett (Stephan) Wells; Rosie Smith; and Minie Furney; two brothers: Billy (Trish) Smith; and Robert Halsey. Several nieces, nephews, and her honorary father: Daryl Grace; also survive. She was preceded by her three sons: Frank; Troy; Tommy; and her mother: Callie Smith.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Marie Halsey’s residence, Cromwell. Burial will immediately follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
