Warsaw SportsWARSAW – A costly two minutes did in Warsaw Tuesday in boys soccer against Fort Wayne Canterbury. A free kick and a penalty kick converted in a consecutive minutes put Canterbury up to stay in a 3-1 final.

Warsaw got on the board early when Edward Esqueda found the back of the net. Canterbury responded when Braden West converted a free kick to tie the game, and a minute later, Warsaw was whistled for a foul in the box, which Brandon Renninger finished off the penalty try.

Renninger would score later on another penalty. It was a theme, as Warsaw had a chance on a penalty kick chance by Joaquin Juarez, but was turned away by Canterbury keeper Tanner Camp.
