Jeremy Layn Hostetler, 41, LaPaz, passed away at 11:24 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, as the result of a train accident in LaPaz. He was born on July 27, 1974, in Bremen, and has remained a lifelong area resident.
Jeremy is survived by his four children: Andrew Hostetler; Zachary Hostetler; Neal Hostetler; and Isabel Hostetler, all of Plymouth; his parents: Debra M. (James) Detweiler, Goshen; James R. (Linda) Hostetler, LaPaz; brother: Adrian (Nicole) Hostetler, Plymouth; grandparents: Neal and Roberta Hostetler, Plymouth; and Wilma LeClercq, Fla.; the mother of his children: Stephanie Cannon, Plymouth; and his girlfriend: Shellie Dillon, LaPaz.
Jeremy was employed by Forest River RV. He was a member of the LaPaz American Legion. Jeremy enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, and he loved his family. Jeremy will be dearly missed.
A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, where a prayer will follow. Afterwards, everyone is invited to celebrate Jeremy’s life at the American Legion in LaPaz.
