Armey, FlorenceFlorence B. Armey, 92, North Manchester, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester.

Florence was born June 9, 1923, to Elihu and Zella (Curtis) Shotts, both deceased, in Pettit, and was a homemaker. She married Fred Nutter, who died in Dec. 1955, and then married Marvin Ora Armey on Dec. 1, 1956. He died April 12, 2011. She loved bowling when she was young, was a Girl Scout leader, loved cooking, watching sports on TV, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her daughter: Frieda Good, North Manchester; grandchildren: Debbie (Dennis) Coe; Jerry (Patty) Good; Carrie (John) Boyd; Clint (Beth) Wilson; Jennifer Good; and Jessica Wilson; great-grandchildren: Lindsay (Tommy) Clawson; David Coe; Devin and Alex Good; Chelsay (Kurt) Jeffers; Cody R. Meeks; Brittany; Dustin; Dillon; Nick; and Chris Boyd; Ashleigh (Kody Cook) Wilson; Destiny and Dakota Wilson; Joseph and Robert Clemons; Dameon and Caleb Conn; Lexi Stripling; and Kenneth Gainer Jr.; nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons; one daughter; two brothers; and four sisters.

Florence was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.

Calling hours will be from 1:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, also at the mortuary, officiated by Pastor Brian Daniels. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Memorials may be made to the Wabash County Cancer Society, North Manchester.
