Wawasee Upends East Noble 3-2
KENDALLVILLE – A solid all-around effort propelled Wawasee to a 3-2 boys soccer win at East Noble Saturday afternoon.
Goals by Kyle Weideman and Alex Doll as well as an own goal were the tickets for Wawasee to earn its third win of the season. Assists were credited to Carlos Camargo and Brock O’Haver for the Weideman and Doll tallies.
Caleb Glon made six saves to earn the win in net for the Warriors, now 3-7-1 on the season.
“It’s great to see such positive play from our boys,” said Wawasee head coach Jordan Sharp. “This is the most comfortable we have looked on the field together yet. The best is yet to come. Congrats, boys, the hard work is paying off.”
Wawasee will host defending state champion Goshen Tuesday evening.
