UPDATE: Two-Vehicle Accident
UPDATE: NORTH WEBSTER — Brian K. Smoker, 55, EMS T7B Lane, Leesburg, suffered a fracture/dislocation to the lower arm, after his motorcycle was hit at the intersection of East CR 500N and North CR 700E. The accident occurred at 4:37 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
Smoker was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Smoker was stopped on his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle on CR 700E, at CR 500N, when it was struck by a 2005 Ford, driven by Helen A. Atwood, 48, Meadow View Drive, Syracuse.
Atwood was westbound on CR 500N when she turned left onto CR 700E, hitting the front of the motorcycle. Atwood told police she did not see the motorcycle sitting there.
Damage was estimated up to $5,000.
North Webster Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene.
North Webster EMS and North Webster Fire Department are responding to a reported car vs. motorcycle accident.
The accident is at CR 500N and 700E.
