AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Middle School volleyball teams and football squads all were in action Tuesday night.

The Valley 7th grade A volleyball team lost to Edgewood. Edgewood won the match 23-25, 25-14, 25-7.

Edgewood also won the 7th grade B match 25-11.

Edgewood topped Valley in the 8th grade A match 25-13, 25-12.

The Valley football teams went 1-1 versus Northfield.

The 7th grade team posted a 14-0 win as Alex Craft and Layne Prater each scored a touchdown to lead the way for the winners. Trey Hardesty also scored on a two-point conversion run for Valley.

Northfield won the 8th grade contest by a 12-0 final.
