Input On Local Natural Resource Priorities Sought

WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Soil and Water Conservation District, in cooperation with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, will be convening a Local Working Group at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the USDA Service Center, 217 E Bell Drive, Warsaw.
SWCD is looking for local input in this process and the public is invited to attend.
The purpose of Local Working Groups is to provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs, funded through the national Farm Bill. This information will be forwarded to the NRCS State Technical Committee for review and further recommendation.
