WARSAW — At 8:50 a.m. Edgewood Middle School held a lockdown drill.

According to officials with Warsaw Community School Corporation, local law enforcement in partnership with WCS is conducting a routine drug search in accordance with the EMS school safety plan.

Dani Barkey, WCS chief accountability, noted it is the the top priority of WCS to ensure safety of students and similar drills will occur randomly throughout the year.
