AKRON – Abby Betten provided the power at the net to pace the Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team to a conference win over North Miami Tuesday night.

Betten slammed down 15 kills as the Vikings topped the Warriors 25-19, 25-14, 25-23 in a Three Rivers Conference tussle.

Maddy Henninger turned in a strong match for the winners with two aces and 15 assists.

Shayleigh Shriver, an outstanding freshman, had two aces and led the defense with 10 digs for the Vikings in the league win.

Coach Mallory Eaton’s team improves to 9-5 overall and moves to 3-1 in TRC action.

Valley will play host to Triton in a non-conference matchup on Thursday night.
