ELKHART- Today, Thursday, Sept. 3, at 9:20 a.m. Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to the Concord High Schoo,l which is located at 59117 Minuteman Way in Elkhart for physical altercations involving four students.

Officers arrived at the school and began working with school officials to investigate the occurrence.

During the early stages of the investigation, rumors surfaced that a student had brought a firearm to the school, which resulted in the school being locked down for a short period of time. After interviewing additional students and completing searches of the school, no weapons were located.

No immediate arrests were made as a result of this incident and those involved received minor injuries.
