Russell V. Overmyer, 100, of Culver, passed away Aug. 31, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Culver.

He was born Sept. 14, 1914, to Charles and Emma (Von Ehr) Overmyer near Burr Oak. On July 23, 1939 he married Esther L. Trease. She preceded him in death July 13, 2010. Russell has his own custom farm business from the late 50’s to the early 70’s. After selling the business, he owned a laundromat and car wash in Milford.

Surviving are his daughter: Kay I (Harvey) Hyland; granddaughters: Michelle Lampkins, Fla.; and Monica (Gary) Lindsley, Culver; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Visitation with the family will be at the Odom Funeral Home, Culver, from 10-11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery.
