Mack Shepherd, age 80, of Ligonier, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen. He was born on March 16, 1935,  to Henderson and Lucindy (Johnson) Shepherd in Hazard, Ky.

He worked at Starcraft for 23 years, Commodore Homes for seven years, and then Kroger for five years. Mack was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Ligonier. He coached city league baseball in Ligonier for 11 years.

Surviving are his two grandchildren: Morgan Noe, Syracuse; and Summar Noe, North Webster; and one brother: Adam Shepherd.

Mack was preceded in death by his parents: a daughter:  Rhonda Noe; and three sisters: Rachel Miller; Arzona Edwards; and Lorna Combs; two brothers: Floyd E. Miller; and Ronald Shepherd.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Shepherd’s honor at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, with Pastor John Lutton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier.

There will be a time of visitation from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5,  prior to the service at the funeral home.
