AKRON – Taylor Gunter led the way for the Tippecanoe Valley Middle School cross country team in the North Miami Invitational Tuesday.

Gunter placed seventh overall in the girls’ race in a time of 12:50.

Ava Craig was 13th for Valley in a time of 13:16. Alyssa Bell placed 41st (15:23), with Emma Craig 42nd (15:23), Bethany Johnson 46th (15:47), Hanna Lowman 49th (15:49), Valeria Jimenez 50th (16:05), Sydney Rhamey 52nd (16:14), Alicia Johnson 67th (19:14) and Maria Henderson 68th (19:40).

Colt Demske led the way for the Valley boys as he placed 31st overall in a time of 12:41. Zach Landis was 35th in 13:05 and Logan Hummitch 54th in 14:26.
