Mary “Ann” (Brooks) Paul, age 87, of Monterey passed away early Sunday morning, Aug. 23, 2015.

Ann was born on May 13, 1928, in Starke County, to Raymond and Clara (Katschke) Brooks. Ann married Peter Anthony Paul on May 3, 1948 in a ceremony in North Judson; he passed on April 21, 2007.

Ann is survived by her four children: Mary Ann (Chuck) Broeker, Plymouth; Peter (Kim) Paul, Argos; Marsha (Bill) Czerniak, Knox; and Beverly Audiss, Klamath Falls, Ore. She was also blessed with 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Ann is preceded in passing by her parents; husband; three sisters; and two brothers.

You may visit and share memories with the family from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Odom Funeral Home, Culver. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. Ann will be buried beside her husband at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, Monterey.

In lieu of flowers, Ann requested memorial contributions be made to the Monterey Collins-Tasch American Legion.
