INDIANAPOLIS — Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online with aquatic invasive species expert Eric Fischer from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26,on the DNR’s Facebook wall.

Fischer will talk about aquatic invasive species, how they affect lakes, rivers and streams and how to control them. Participants are invited to join the conversation and bring any questions they would like answered.

Future topics, instructions on how to join a conversation on Facebook and commenting guidelines are posted online. To join a chat, go to the DNR’s Facebook wall and click “like” if you are not already a “friend.” Participants may begin typing questions during the time slot. DNR experts will answer questions as time allows.
