PLYMOUTH — Amanda Nethercutt of Plymouth is being charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and neglect of a dependent after allegedly trying to drown her six-year-old daughter last week.

Police found Nethercutt with a knife in her hand. After refusing to disarm herself, she was tased and taken to a mental hospital.

Her daughter is expected to make a full recovery.
