Warsaw — Kosciusko Community Hospital employees will be showing their support for community safety and health education at this year’s Family Safety Day. The event 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Central Park and Center Lake Pavilion, Warsaw.

Fire Chief Mike Brubaker says, “Keeping members of our community safe and healthy is our top priority for the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory. For many years, our organization has been committed to educating community members about how to stay safe in a variety of situations. One of the best avenues we have found for education is through sponsoring Family Safety Day.”

KCH, Kosciusko Medical Group and MedStat Urgent Care staff will be at the event and participating in various activities throughout the weekend. Sponsored activities include: The gummy worm surgical station, kids first aid tent, children’s create a first aid kit and Hand washing station. Lutheran Air and Lutheran EMS Kosciusko will also be present.

Family Safety Day will be held at Warsaw’s Central Park and Center Lake Pavilion. Last year an estimated 4,000 people attended the event.
