BOONE COUNTY – A music instructor in Fisher has been arrested for child molestation.

John Olevera is being held on no bond at the Boone County Jail, facing three counts of felony child molesting. A judge issued his arrest warrant on Monday, Aug. 17.

At least one child made a report to the Department of Child Services in July which prompted the investigation. Court documents say the alleged abuse took place on July 7. Olivera is also a former youth minister at the Indianapolis Baptists Temple.

A hearing is scheduled for this afternoon.
