SYRACUSE — The Indiana Department of Transportation announce that SR 13/North Huntington Street, between East Baltimore Street and Medusa Street in Syracuse, is scheduled to close at 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24.

The road will be closed to allow CSX to rebuild the railroad crossing.

The official state detour is US 30 to SR 15 to US 6.

The work will improve the driving surface for motorists and is anticipated to be completed by 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, weather permitting.
