Shirley Eileen Chamberlain, 89, Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, passed away at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.

She was a homemaker and a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church. She was a loving, godly mother and grandmother.

Shirley was born Oct. 2, 1925, in Johnstown, Pa., to Thomas G. Watkins and Edna (Boyle) Watkins. Shirley was married to Leslie LeRoy Chamberlain, who passed away in 2005.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Larry (Sherlene) Chamberlain, LaFontaine and Terry Chamberlain, Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and her brother.

A private family service will be conducted at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, Tuesday, Aug. 18, officiated by Chaplain Bryan Benjamin.

A private family burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa. Thursday Aug. 20.
