Plymouth Man Arrested In Connection To RV Theft

PLYMOUTH — Vincent Simone Carnegie, 52, Plymouth, has been arrested and initially charged with possession of stolen property, valued over $50,000. He has been booked in the Marshall County Jail on $3,000 cash bond.

According to Plymouth Police Detective Sgt. Leo Mangus, the Plymouth Police Department was notified on Aug. 10, by Nappanee Police, of a theft involving a 2016 Newmar motor home from Nappanee. The theft occurred on July 16. Through the investigation, a suspect was developed and identified as Carnegie, who was seen with this motor home on Aug. 8, at a car show in Plymouth.

Police interviewed Carnegie on Aug. 10, however the motor home could not be located. It was located on Aug. 11, in Starke County.

Further investigation revealed witnesses had seen Carnegie with the stolen motor home at a remote location in Marshall County after Nappanee Police detectives questioned him about it.

Carnegie was located on Aug. 14, and arrested.
