Gabriele H. Sterling, 63, of Akron, passed at 7:52 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.

She was born Nov. 29, 1951, in Rockenberg, Germany, to Josef and Maria (Poisel) Jenisch. She married Marion Sterling in Lima, Ohio, in Dec. 1985. She was an inspector and a packer for Consolidated Containers of Argos.

She is survived by her husband: Marion Sterling, Akron; son: Patrick Graham, Seattle, Wa.; sisters: Hanne Anslem, Rockenberg, Germany; and Barbel Pfeffer, Rockenberg, Germany.
